There is no better experience for a child than being able to literally get their hands in the dough! He will have the opportunity to get closer to the raw materials by experiencing them firsthand, so the memory will remain indissoluble over time.
The community cooperative of the Teatro Povero di Monticchiello offers a complete experience to introduce children to the raw material of wheat, presenting its different qualities and grinds, and showing the tools that in the past were used for work in the fields and in the kitchen. This will be a way to talk about peasant culture and popular traditions, and the environments of the TePoTraTos Museum will be the backdrop to the visit, with images and tools. Then the children will follow the preparation of the dough for the famous pici, our thick spaghetti, and will be able to try their hand at preparing the pasta, which they can take home together with the cooking recipe.
