Located in the Parco Vivo in Vivo d’Orcia, one of the two springs of Monte Amiata is found in its natural element, the forest. On the square level, you enter a tunnel just over 80 meters long where contact with the water is direct and no barrier separates the visitor from the impetuous force of the water coming out of the rock.
The tour begins with a historical presentation of the area with the Ermicciolo Church dating back to the year 1000 and a chestnut squeegee, an ancient Camaldolese cell. Afterwards, the actual entrance into the Ermicciolo Springs: the roar of the waterfall and the humidity of the air are the sensations that will remain etched in the memory.
