The Val d’Orcia and specifically the two localities of Bagno Vignoni and Castle of Spedaletto, have represented two very important centers for the milling art since ancient times. The presence of continuous flow thermal waters and wheat as a subsistence crop have developed artefacts and companies that can still be visited today. In the company of the environmental guides of the cooperatives, it will be possible to organize a tour to visit first the archaeological area of the Mill Park in Bagno Vignoni, then the Val d’Orcia Mill in Spedaletto, which still grinds ancient grains today.
